Large, round, succulent leaves in lime green, measuring 14cm x 10cm, smooth with central fold and visible venation. Easy to grow.
Blooms: White star-shaped flowers, measuring 20mm, with small margin of red under a pale rose corona. Up to 40 flowers per umbel. Highly perfumed. Flowers last up to 7 days.
Sun exposure: Flowers best in bright, filtered sunlight. Leaves will darken in darker growing conditions.
Water requirement: Prefers well-drained, loose mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance:Â Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: Formerly Hoya australis ssp. 'Betty Ho' melanesica IML 0144. WAOL permitted. Significant variations exist within this subspecies. Damaged plant exudes white sap which is toxic. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
