Sweet and dainty – a lovely little lady for the hoya house.
Unique foliage. Small, round leaves measuring 4cm x 2cm, lime green in colour with dark purple leaf margins. Cascading branches with leaves tending to red in bright sunlight. Flowers year-round.
Blooms: Teeny red flowers with petals strongly wrapped back, up to 3mm across, with orange corona. Up to 20 flowers per umbel. Sweet and mild fragrance.
Sun exposure: Prefers bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-draining open mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance: Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: Collector’s number 16. WAOL permitted. Intermediate hoya: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
