Plump, velvety leaves up to 9cm x 2cm, with maroon/black leaf margins. New growth throws rich bronze tones in higher levels of sunshine.
Blooms: Fuzzy, spherical flowers in dark red, measuring 8mm, with darker yellow-tipped, red corona. Up to 30 flowers per umbel. Sweet smelling fragrance. Flowers last up to 6 days.
Sun exposure: Prefers plenty of bright indirect light.
Water requirement: Prefers well-drained mix. Water less in winter.
Maintenance:Â Low. Fertilise in growing period.
Special note: WAOL permitted. A H. wayettii x H. tsangii hybrid.
